The heat is on! We're approaching the last day of August, and it's feeling more like the last day of June. Temperatures on Monday will once again make it into the mid-80's, with partly cloudy skies. A few backyards may see a bit of rain, but most of us will stay hot and dry. Tuesday will be very similar, as will Wednesday. Summer is holding on as long as it can!

Thursday will likely be the warmest day this week, followed by a hot and dry Friday afternoon and evening. Football games will feel more like late July practice, unlike the fall-feel of week 1. Leading into Labor Day weekend, temps are expected to stay in the 80's during the afternoon, and a few pop-up showers cannot be ruled out.
