Child Rapist Sentenced

DAYTON -- A child rapist was sentenced to 23 years to life in prison for raping two children under the age of 13  and videotaping the assaults.

George E. Jackson Jr., 52, received the sentence today in Judge Dennis Langer's Montgomery County courtroom.

Jackson was found guilty of two separate cases involving children.

Judge Langer  said Jackson raped a young boy when he was between 4 and 7 years of age.  Jackson videotaped one of those sexual acts.

The Judge said Jackson also raped a 10-year-old girl over a period of time.  Police said Jackson befriended the girl's mother and carried on a relationship with her.  The sexual assaults happened when he was watching  the girl at his Dayton apartment on Hepburn Avenue.

The little girl was in court today and read a statement  before sentencing. "Please, please lock this guy up and throw away the key," the girl read crying.

Jackson will be a tier 3 sex offender for the rest of  his life.

ABC 22/ FOX 45 is following this story and will have much more coverage coming up tonight on ABC 22 at 6, and FOX 45 at 630.

Additional Coverage:

George Jackson showed  no remorse  when one of his young  victims expressed her pain  out  loud in court.

"I was 10 years old when this sick man changed my  life by raping me." The girl said.

Judge Dennis Langer said Jackson  befriended the  girls mother, gained her trust  and then violated that trust.
He raped  the little girl, in late December  2011 while watching her at  his Hepburn  Avenue  apartment.

"I wanted to make sure  this person is locked up for life so he can not do what he did  to me  to anyone  else ever again." She read  out loud in court, crying.
"Please, please  lock  this  guy up and throw away the key." She added.

Jackson was also found guilty of  raping  a young boy  from the time he was 4 to 7 years of age,  and  he video taped one  the sexual acts.

Judge Langer  sentenced Jackson to 23 years  to life in prison,  and reprimanded him for not  taking responsibility for his actions,  for not showing any remorse and for not  admitting he has a serious problem

"It's very troubling that you do not acknowledge that you are a pedophile."  Judge Langer told Jackson.

Just before his sentencing, Jackson  changed  his plea  to one  of  19 counts against him; which means he'll be back in court in December.  The Judge could add an additional nine years  to his prison  sentence.

George Jackson will be a tier three sex offender for the rest of his life.
