Top 22: Piqua's Trent Yeomans
PIQUA - It wasn't too long ago Brandon Saine was donning the scarlet and gray.
Saine led the Piqua Indians to a state championship in 2006 before playing for Ohio State. In that state title run, he rushed for 2,261 yards.
As the Indians head into this season, they have another 2,000-yard rusher.
His name: Trent Yeomans.
Yeomans ran for 2,007 yards and 23 touchdowns last season, becoming the first Piqua player since Saine to eclipse that mark. But Yeomans accomplished that feat in just ten games, whereas Saine did it in 14. The Indians return 15 starters from a year ago.
