UPDATE: Police Arrest Two Teens in Recent Tipp City School Threats
UPDATE--Tipp City Police have arrested two juvenile male students for violent threats made at Tippecanoe Middle School and Tippecanoe High School within the last week.

Wednesday afternoon during a presser, Detective Chris Graham and Tipp City Superintendent Dr. John Kronour gave details regarding the arrests. They did not go into detail about how or who identified the students but say tips from the community helped.

There have been a total of five threats made at the Middle and High School. Police arrested a 14-year old boy at the Middle School for allegedly drafting a note threatening mass destruction. While interviewing that teen, a name was given and officers were able to make another arrest involving a 15-year old for making a similar threat at the High School.

Police believe the juveniles  knew each other. They are in custody at the West Central Juvenile Center. Both face charges of inducing panic, disorderly conduct and aggravating menacing. Superintendent Kronour say they all face suspension/expulsion from school.

Police are still looking for others who they say were responsible for three other threats.   A $1,000 reward is still in place for any information.

TIPP CITY -- Police have said they have made one arrest and are working on a second suspect in the recent threats made at Tipp City Schools.

Police aren't providing details but ABC 22/FOX 45 will bring you the latest as information is available. Tipp City Police are planning to hold a press conference at 3 p.m. today to talk about the arrest.

Also, prayer vigils are planned for 6 p.m. tonight at all five Tipp City school buildings as the community rallies against the recent threats. Participants will gather around the flagpoles of each school.

TIPP CITY -- School and
law enforcement officials are hosting on Wednesday a Community School
Safety Meeting in light of the recent threats found at school buildings.
The meeting will address questions from the community about Tipp City
school safety.

The meeting will be held from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at L.T. Ball Intermediate School in the cafeteria.

Tipp
City Schools Superintendent Dr. John Kronour, Tipp City Police
Detective Chris Graham and Special Agent Timothy Ferguson of the FBI are
planning to attend.

TIPP
CITY -- Another threatening message has been found in a Miami Valley
school. This time something written in a boy's restroom this morning at
Tippecanoe Middle School prompted a school evacuation.

Police say they didn't find anything during their search of the building and the students were allowed back in the school.

Police
presence now has been heightened at the school and a new restroom
policy has been implemented. Students are required to sign out to go to
the restroom.

Police have said they are offering a $500 reward for information about nature of this threat.
