Question of the Day
Should Bengals cheerleaders be paid more considering the team's mandatory meetings and charitable work?
Comment: I think they get enough fringe benefits to make up any pay they think they deserve. from Dayton,OH by Tammy
Comment: They should not be paid more. Charitable work is exactly what it sounds like...charitable. Cheerleading for a professional team is not to be used as a primary source of income anyways. Get a real job. by Angela
Comment: No one watches for the cheerleaders. A professional cheerleader is not a high paying job. They should have thougt of that when they tried out- it's not a life long career for them. They shouldn't be able to retire after 5 years of cheering "professionally" I feel the players get te crowd cheering more then then the cheer leaders at the games. from Dayton ohio by Alli
Comment: The NFL pays no taxes and should pay these women much better. They overpay their players all the time. from Washington by Gary
Comment: They work very hard and do not get the recognition that they deserve. from Centerville by Bill
Comment: It is not a job. It is a volunteer position with mandates. The fact they get paid anything should be a plus. Most do it for the exposure they get. from Franklin,oh by Jan
Comment: Does a salaried person get paid extra ? They signed onfor a specific wage. Salaried personel work well under minimum wage for the number of hours they are forced to work. from Miamisburg Ohio by doc
Comment: Paid much more considering what the players earn, theirs is a drop in the bucket. from boca, florida by leeann
Comment: At least pay them enough to cover their expenses. I must say they deserve more, They don'take enough to buy a hot dog and pop! from Coldwater,OH by Rick
Comment: No. I'm assuming this isn't their only income. It's a choice they have to make. from Dayton, Ohio by Kate
Comment: If you don't like the pay then quit doing it.Plus the fact that they are only there for cheap entertainment. So go cry somewhere else nobody cares and if they do worry about it there are more important issues facing America. from America by Silence Dogood
Comment: It's a job pay them a fair wage. Bengals make a bundle so why should the Cheerleaders not get a good wage for their work. from Fairborn by Dave
