Question of the Day

Do you believe the president’s proposals about income inequality will help the poor and middle class?

6.89% YES
93.1% NO

Comment: More lies! His presidency has basically been a failure, particularly when it comes to the economy and our recovery. Obama's “recovery” has been the worst since the Great Depression. Median household income in America has dropped on Obama's watch. One in six Americans now live in poverty, and nearly one in five of those are American children. The labor force participation rate is at its lowest level in 35 years, with fewer Americans working today than when Obama took office. The number of Americans collecting food stamps has doubled under Obama to almost 50 million people. Obama's policies have not fostered any increase in economic mobility or economic opportunity. We now have over $17 trillion in debt and $90 trillion in unfunded liabilities that we must one day pay. His chief legislative achievement, Obamacare, was predicated on lies, it is negatively effecting our economy and jobs, and it is falling a part before our very eyes. We continue to drop in terms of economic freedom because of burdensome government regulations and runaway government spending. It's no wonder that Americans are pessimistic about the future of this nation! Bring on 2016!!! from Dayton, OH by Robert T.

Comment: HE'S HAD FIVE YEARS OF PROPOSALS AND THERE HAS BEEN NO IMPROVEMENT. HE BUDDIES UP TO THE LIKES OF VENEZUELA'S CHAVEZ AND CUBA'S CASTRO AND WAS RAISED AND GROOMED BY AVOWED COMMUNISTS AND HE WANTS US TO BELIEVE HE'S FOR THE AMERICAN WAY? WHAT'S THAT OLD SAYING, "OUT OF CHAOS COMES ORDER." WHEN DECENT PAYING JOBS RETURN THEN PEOPLE WILL HAVE MONEY TO SPEND. IF THEY'RE SPENDING THEN OTHERS ARE PRODUCING. GOVRNMENT WELFARE IS JUST ANOTHER FORM OF SLAVERY. from sunny, downtown Fairborn by the ol' Man

Comment: No he's trying to destroy our American way of life and recreate a utopian communist society that has failed in Asia and Eastern Europe. from dayton/Ohio by MT

Comment: I have no problem with income inequality....That comes with freedom. from Miamisburg, OH by Dave Bevenger

Comment: Why would I believe anything that the liar in charge has to say.The government as a whole are nothing but liars and thieves. The funny thing is people are still stupid enough to believe the bull crap they spew. The only thing they care about is their own personal agenda end of story. They only care that they get theirs. Why else would they give the EPA and every other alphabet agency so much power and free reign.Impeach him and fire all of Congress and the Senate along with the Supreme Court justices.Obuthole care is Unconstitutional but they ruled it a tax and pelosie and her ilk keep saying it's not a tax. Well which is it? Is it a law or a tax. from America by Silence Dogood

Comment: He also said he is for gender equality but his own law discriminates against men. from Beavercreek, Ohio by Quentin

Comment: There is no such thing as income inequality. You earn what a particular job pays. If you want to earn more, get a job that pays more. from South Chas., Ohio by Dian

Comment: What you earn is what the job pays. Want to earn more, get a job that pays more. from So. Charleston, O. by Dian

Comment: Socialism only works until you run out of other peoples money! from Dayton, Ohio by Anthony

Comment: If the left is so worried about the gap between the rich and the poor why don't they start by giving the money they stole while being in office away.I can name a few examples. What Senator's husbands construction company got the job for the high speed rail in California.Who's husband got the real estate deal for all the federal buildings. That's just two.Do some research and you will find thousands more. But the liberal media keeps that out of the papers and off the nightly news.WILL NOT COMPLY from America by Silecne Dogood

Comment: raising minimum wage is going to cause prices to skyrocket and employers will have to lay off workers that they cant afford to pay..everybody needs to start at the bottom and work your way up if you are unskilled than you should be paid as such from miamisburg by m

Comment: just like we could keep our health plan----Right from Troy/OH by Dave

Comment: We already have equal oppertunity, that does not guarentee equal results. If you want equal results work harder! from Celina by Doug
