Question of the Day
Should the state discontinue Planned Parenthood funding?
Comment: Planned Parenthood is dedicated to the murdering of babies and the exploitation of women. It should never receive support via our taxes. from Kettering/OH by Tim
Comment: If people want to have sex let em pay for it. Liberals expect us to subsidize their misdeeds. from 45458 by Centerville, oh
Comment: Yes, the state should NOT be paying for the irresponsibility of others, especially when it's public money. Planned parenthood does NOT do anything to support health or planning of a family. All they support is abortion. Let someone who wants an abortion pay for it themselves. I shouldn't be paying for it. from Miamisburg, OH by Mike
Comment: There are better ways to spend the money--like for our schools. from Springfield, OH by Brian
Comment: There are plenty of contributors who are ready to support these activities. All tax payers should not have to support this special benefit. from Xenia, OH by Doug
Comment: Yes! I was a woman in my mother's womb, and my rights as a human started at conception. Planned Parenthood is a profiting business and makes it's money based on misinformation at the cost of human life. from Russia, Ohio by Judie
Comment: The state shouldn't be funding private organizations. from Dayton, Ohio by Brian
Comment: Aborting a baby at any stage is a barbaric act of selfishness and murder. No one... including women should have the “right” to murder anyone for any reason. No one should force me or anyone else to pay for such a heinous crime through the taxes I pay. Use private funds from those who support such evil. from Mechanicsburg, Ohio by Gary Stanfield
Comment: The state has no business funding abortions. from Miamisburg by Ed
Comment: It is a huge waste of my tax dollars. from Bellbrook by Steve
Comment: Our taxes should not be used to end the life of a child. from Urbana, OH by Sarah
Comment: as far a women's health is concerned. There is around a 50% chance that the baby being killed would be a girl. That sounds bad for that little woman's health! from Celina/Ohio by Dean
Comment: Women's Centers throughout the state can provide initial pregnancy information and options counseling free of charge, no need for the government or women to pay for services at Planned Parenthood. from Dayton, Oh by Jennifer
Comment: The less fortunate need these services. They have helped me get my annual check ups at a reasonable price from dayton ohio
Comment: medical costs are lower when a problem's discovered early. from Eaton, Ohio by Keith M. Fudge
Comment: I'm against abortion, but Planned Parenthood provides so much more than just abortions/abortion counseling. from Piqua, OH by Josh
Comment: This service is offered to those that can't afford it. I think it is a great thing that Planned Parenthood does from houston OH by rae
Comment: Without planned parenthood there will be more babies born due to lack of birth control access for low income mothers. This further creates financial burdens on the welfare system. Both of these things( single moms and abortions) seem to be a target of politicians. It could also increase the number of illegal abortions. The government wants to cut spending but would exponentially create more debt. Preventing pregnancy is cheaper than 18 years of welfare. from Wapak/ Ohio by cymone
Comment: HELL NO
