Question of the Day

Do you think the president and Congress did their jobs with the fiscal cliff deal?

100% No

Comment: It should have been settled weeks ago! from Sidney Ohio by Jeanne

Comment: CONGRESS GOT THERE BIG RAISE AND ALL THEY THINK ABOUT IS THE BIG GUYS NOT THE MIDDLE CLASS WHO MAKES THIS COUNTRY ALL THEY WANT TO DO IS TAKE AWAY FROM THE MIDDLE CLASS.WHAT SHOULD OF BEN DONE WAS TO LOCK THEM IN A ROOM NOT LET THEM OUT UNTIL THEY RESOLVE THINGS MAKE THEM EARN THIER BIG BUCKS AND THEN THE AMERICIAN PEOPLE SHOULD VOTE THEM ALL OUT OF OFFICE COME NEXT ELECTION. from DAYTON OHIO by DAVID

Comment: With Americans all over the US, shame on the President for giving a pay raise to Federal workers. To balance the budget, stop raising our taxes and force them to take pay cuts like everyone else. from Dayton, OH by Ted

Comment: They are overpaid "yes" men who cave under pressure. They need to cut their salary in half and STOP taking so much at retirement. The Federal Government is taking on too much power and we, the people, are allowing them to do it. from Vandalia OH by Sharon

Comment: The problem was spending, out of control government and too much taxation. Their solution? More spending, legislation, and taxes. Nothing was done here to but to further ensure our nation will slip futher into socialism and failure. from Beavercreek/Ohio by Josh

Comment: No. Nothing was done to address the out of control spending - no spending cuts. We did get higher taxes and more out of control spending. from Dayton, Ohio by Roget

Comment: This issue has been kept on the back burner for months if not years. So it comes down to the very last minute because of the power struggle these politicians have displayed their whole term. They don't represent the Americans that voted them in. It is all about egos and individual politicians' agendas. First, vote in new blood and second, before vital benefits we deserve are reduced - CUT FOREIGN AID!!! The US is in tough times and its peoples are suffering while the government continues to pump money into way too many foreign interests. Why not teach them to be self-sufficient and how they can use their country's resources in place of so much from us? We can't continue on this path. Burdening Americans is no longer the answer. from East Liberty, OH by Donna
