Music is an important part of the day for Middle School students Sabrina, Bailey, and Trevor.
Their in choir and band at Morton Middle School and say music is the reason their good students.
They say their thankful for their school's love of music...it makes them top of the class in math and reading.
Pam Horner Sherman teaches World Music class. She notices a difference in every child that leaves her class, "students who participate in choir or band, the more years their in it, the higher they score on ACT and SAT"
That's why Morton Middle School has made a commitment to music even with recent budget cuts from the district. Something these students are very thankful for...
